Personal Development, Health & Physical Education

Every child is involved in two hours of physical activity each week. Teachers combine weekly fitness activities as well as lessons designed to teach specific sporting skills. Every student is provided with the opportunity to be active every day. We recognise that participation in regular physical activity enhances academic achievement.

Children in Kindergarten and Year One participate in a 10 week Perceptual Motor Program. This program aims to improve fine and gross motor skills.

It is expected that all students participate in fitness and PE lessons unless a note is written by parents/carers.
